How long have you been operating?
We have been operating since March 2007.
What is your format?
The music selection is primarily contemporary in nature; Christian AC (Adult Contemporary) and CHR (Christian Hit Radio).
Do you take requests?
The simple answer is no. We can take requests through our contact page on this site, but it means that somebody needs to be monitoring the site for email as well. This is often not the case. Regardless, there are nearly 4000 songs in rotation and it is growing, so hearing your favorite song may become more difficult as time moves on, so submit your requests via the contact page, and if we are online, we'll do our best to see your song is played within a few hours, if we have the song you request.
How do you receive the music played on Lead Me To The Rock Radio?
Most of the music is delivered to us by the Christian Record Companies via digital download. Some of our music has to be obtained by other means, which means an outright purchase. This is only one of the reasons we ask you to prayerfully consider donating to Lead Me To The Rock Radio.
Is it possible to get my own music played on Lead Me To The Rock Radio?
Check out the information on Song Submissions on our Contact Page.
How is the station funded?
Lead Me To The Rock Radio is listener supported. We are deeply grateful to our listeners who benefit from the ministry of Lead Me To The Rock Radio and recognize the need to help support it.
We also make a small commission from, iTunes, Christianbook.com and Spreadshirt from purchases visitors make through links on the station web site.
The station is not for profit, though we are not registered as a not for profit organization. As funding allows, we desire this for the future.
Does the station support any ministries?
We have a whole page devoted to supported ministries. Click here to find out more.
Do you share any information about your listeners?
The easy answer is no personal information is shared with anybody outside of the Lead Me To The Rock Radio family. For a look at our Privacy Policy, click here.
We do report spins (the amount of times a song is played during the week) to CRW (Christian Radio Weekly), which in turn provides that information to Neilsen. Also, listener counts are reported to Ando Media which again reports to Nielsen and Mediabase, but these are just listener counts (the number of people listening to a particular song at a particular time), and nothing else.
Finally, all music played and listener counts are logged by our licensing agency, LoudCity, for reporting purposes pertaining to royalties the station pays to record companies, composers and recording artists. No personal user information is shared with LoudCity.
